Interview with Madison

Hi Madison, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story started many years ago when, in my twenties, I gained a significant amount of weight in just a few months. Thinking about it now, I believe this is where my program began its developmental stages. To lose weight, I began learning about weight loss and found that the key to that was to understand diet and nutrition. I began journaling my foods, counting calories, and learning which foods were best for me and my health. As I changed my lifestyle according to my learning, the weight began to come off. I was so excited that I could change my health with my diet that I decided to go back to college and study nutrition to help others lose weight and regain their health.

After graduating from the University of Tennessee with my Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Sciences in 2018, I immediately started working in my field as a weight loss consultant for one of those big-name companies. I loved consulting and coaching but saw flaws in the traditional weight loss model. Many of my clients could lose weight while eating the foods provided by our company. Still, they could not keep the weight off after returning to the Standard American Diet. I struggled with this myself. I could maintain my weight if I were strict about counting my calories every day, but as soon as I would stop counting, I would start gaining. Me and my clients were on the yo-yo diet cycle, and I set out to figure out how to stop it.

I continued researching and experimenting with the best ways to lose and keep weight off. I began learning about toxins and the effect they have on our health. I realized that I had toxin exposures that were not only making me sick but also causing me to continue to battle with my weight. I began to detox my diet and changed my approach to my health. I started looking more holistically at my weight and health instead of just calories in and calories out. I began the somewhat painful discovery that most processed foods are toxic and unrecognizable to the human body as food. I was making myself sick eating processed “health” foods. As I cleaned up my diet and cut out the to-go foods and the packaged so-called “health” foods, I began feeling better and had energy again. The stubborn bloat around my tummy that I had since I was a teenager was gone. As I continued my new diet, I began cutting out toxins in other areas of my life, including my drinking water and the cleaning products I used. The craziest part was eating as much as I could and wanted. I was eating many calories but not gaining the weight back. That’s when NOYOYO was born.

I began teaching my findings to my clients at a weight loss clinic I was employed at. The clients no longer needed the addictive and short-term solution of appetite suppressants and semaglutide injections. They only needed to eat “clean” and live a healthy lifestyle, and the weight would come off effortlessly.

I decided I needed to go on my own and create a program for everyone else out there who was tired of dieting and restricting themselves only to yo-yo on the scale. I began my business in 2022 and have been so pleased with the results. Clients lose weight effortlessly. They understand how food and lifestyle affect their weight and health. With this understandin

g, my clients are empowered and can make choices supporting their health and longevity. They are free from dieting and food restrictions. No more yo-yo dieting!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has been both smooth and bumpy. It has been smooth in that the entrepreneurial community in the Woodstock area is welcoming and supportive of new businesses. There have also been some bumps in the road, and I have had to figure some things out as I go, but I like the challenge and problem-solving. My biggest challenges have been finding clients and startup money. I had no money to start the business, so the costs went on my credit card. I am constantly reinvesting my profits to improve my business. To find clients, I started going to local networking groups and getting my name out there as much as possible. I am beyond grateful that people were willing to try me and loved the results. The word of mouth advertising has been my most significant help.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a nutritionist passionate about helping people reach their weight management and healthy lifestyle goals. I founded my own consulting and coaching business in 2022. I meet one-on-one with people to assess their nutrition and health goals. I give them recommendations to help them reach their goals. If they want accountability and further support, then coaching is available. I specialize in clean eating and less toxic living without restrictive dieting and unsustainable expectations. I am known for making weight loss easy and finally offering a solution to people who have unsuccessfully been a part of the diet system for a long time. My approach differs from others in that we don’t get stuck on calorie counting or tracking macros. Instead, we focus on intuitive eating, healthy digestion and lifestyle techniques, sleep, physical activity, hydration, and a tailored lifestyle change for the individual. I take the time to educate my clients about food and nutrition, which they say is priceless to them. I take the mystery and confusion from weight loss and make it simple and attainable for everyone.

I am most proud of how easy my clients say reaching their goals is with Noyoyo. It’s nice as a coach to have clients happy with what they eat daily so they stay on track and love their life. Readers should know that if they choose me, they will finally have that personalized attention and individualized approach to their health that they have been unable to find with traditional weight loss approaches. They will have a dedicated professional on their side, supporting them every step of the way with practical answers and solutions to their needs and problems. They should also know that they will finally be able to end the yo-yo dieting for good or prevent the cycle from happening in the first place.

We’d love to hear about any fond memories you have from when you were growing up?
I loved riding horses and teaching others to ride. My favorite memories were summers spent at camp in the woods in Tennessee. I would sleep in a cabin in the woods with my other scouts and get up before sunrise to hike to the barn. We would feed, clean, and set up the horses for the day. The younger girls would come later in the morning, and we would teach them to ride the horses and care for them. I love teaching others and creating meaningful experiences. We would then clean the barn, have our riding lesson, and return to the dining hall for dinner. I found much serenity and connection being in nature with those gentle giants.
