Why Eat Organic?

Eating organic is not always possible due to availability and costs. However, eating organic foods does have its health benefits. You can quickly reduce the toxins in your body by switching to organic foods. Even if you don’t choose to eat organic 100% of the time, you should avoid foods from “The Dirty Dozen” list and wash them extremely well if you do purchase them. Washing the food does not wash the pesticide away, but it will get any extra residues and dirt off. The Dirty Dozen is a list of fruits and vegetables with the highest level of pesticide residues created by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) to educate the public on food safety.  Below is an exert from their website if you’d like to read some of the health benefits of eating organic.
